Silent Lover

Note: This is the sequel to "Sky's Dead." Created a few days after the first one was done and read by someone.

Upon the sky’s death, clouds of darkness filled the land, hiding the sorrow of the silent lover, keeping the mourning moon from the eyes of the unsuspecting people. She had lost a friend, a companion, and a most beloved.

Since the beginning of time, the lonesome brightness of the moon at night had always been accompanied by the sky’s innocent care and compassion. The sky had given her the warmth the sun could not offer when the cold, northern winds blew and something to laugh at when all is blue. But now, he is gone.

Overwhelming pity for the sky and herself occupied the heart of the midnight guardian. Crystal drops flowed relentlessly to the universe from her eyes, turning into stars. She was ready to give him everything but the sky rejected her offers. He gave her nothing but pain and his death.

The site of her most beloved’s rebirth and death once again brings happiness and pain at the same time. Even so, she continues to love the sky though all she owns of him is just a soulless, lifeless, heartless him.
